On dirait que je serais - Let's pretend I'm...

A transdisciplinary and transmedia project dedicated to various figures of collective representation. The anthropomorphic figures include: The Scarecrow, The Peasant Woman, The Tailcoat, The Poet, and The Armed Man. Additionally, non-anthropomorphic representations such as the chalice and sheep are also featured.

On dirait que je serais is a transdisciplinary and transmedia endeavor. As a transdisciplinary project, it spans and integrates multiple disciplines, melding different areas of study or practice without confining itself to a single art form. The transmedia aspect of the project ensures it extends across various media platforms, which may encompass literature, films, visual arts, music, live performances, digital media, and more.

Central to this project are the figures of collective representation. This concept explores or portrays various figures or archetypes that are recognizable and meaningful at a collective or cultural level. Anthropomorphic figures are at the heart of this narrative: The Scarecrow, often seen as a guardian of fields, stands as a metaphor for protection and vigilance; The Poet, timeless in emotion and narrative, resonates with shared experiences across ages; The Peasant symbolizes our intrinsic connection to the land; The Tailcoat evokes notions of tradition and societal roles; The Cyclist, representing movement, freedom, and the journey of life and The Armed Man embodies the dichotomies of human valor and conflict.

Complementing these human-like representations are the non-anthropomorphic elements. The Chalice, typically associated with religious rituals and ceremonies, becomes a beacon of abundance and sanctity. Sheep, on the other hand, touch upon themes of innocence and, depending on context, can represent followers or even the nature of conformity.

This rich tapestry of symbols and characters serves as a reflection of shared narratives, values, and beliefs. It's not merely an artistic endeavor but a journey through the multifaceted aspects of collective representation.
